These (hose) compression fittings can be used for connection to the pump side, or
for connecting the hoses on the cylinder side.

Mounting these clamp couplings is very easy:
1. Cut the hose to the desired size with a Stanley knife (do not saw due to contamination of the inside of the hose).
2. Turn the hollow swivel (counterclockwise) onto the hose.
3. Apply some Vaseline to the conical part of the coupling.
4. Turn the conical part of the clamp coupling into the inside of the hose.

These clamp couplings are heavy-duty, very reliable and absolutely do not leak if mounted properly.
