Assembly examples
On this link you will find (divided by category) various installation examples of new engines and hydraulic controls that we have installed and delivered.
We also do engine installation for boat builders and house boat builders. You will find examples of this at work boats and pontoon boats.
Many of our new engines that we have installed are installed by us on new boats. This is because the boat suppliers are often significantly more expensive.

Hydraulic steering
Engines up to 150 HP:
Additional charge hydraulic steering €600,- (only in combination with the purchase of an engine).
Type: Mavimare GF150BRT for engines up to 150 HP.
Please note! These hydraulic steering systems can only be supplied at this price if it is purchased at the same time with an engine.
It is not possible to have the hydraulic steering system delivered afterwards for this amount.
Propeller service
When you purchase this engine you will receive a propeller that we think is suitable for your boat.
If this size propeller is not suitable for your boat afterwards, you can exchange it for a new one free of charge (provided there is no damage to the old propeller).
It is very important that you sail with the correct propeller because the engine must run at full power between 5500 and 6100 rpm. The choice of propeller therefore depends on the weight of your boat, what type of boat it is and how you will use your boat.
For example, if you are going to use your boat for water skiing, we recommend installing a propeller with a slightly smaller pitch so that the boat accelerates better.
We can supply the most common propellers for this engine from stock.
Delivery
Delivered on location throughout the Netherlands excluding the islands for an extra 75 euros.
The engines are delivered and unloaded by our own employees so that you can be sure that the engine will be delivered to you undamaged.
Fitting the engine yourself
If you're planning on fitting the engine yourself we can always give you very clear instructions on how to do so.
The following points will be discussed:
- The correct way of drilling the holes in the shaft (with new boats).
- Sealing the engine with the right sealant to prevent leakage and rotting of the mirror.
- Hanging the engine at the correct height.
- Connecting the cabling to the remote control and gauges.
- Connecting to the battery (possibly via main switch).
- Discussing which propeller you need for the best performance. (we often take several sizes of propellers with us so that we can determine on site which one you need)
- Explanation of how to install and correctly adjust the throttle/shift cables.
- Explanation of how to use a new engine.
- Explanation of the manufacturer's warranty.
If you need a mobile crane to install the engine, you can borrow it from us for free with a deposit of 400 euros.
