DEFINITION:

For sale a NEW ONES Mercury 60 hp PRO CT (Command Thrust) with extra high discount.
incl. rigging and 5 year manufacturer's warranty.

Engine is a 40 / 60 hp version, which means that it says 40 on the hood, but in reality it is a 4 cylinder 60 hp.

This (destined for the Italian market, among others) ORIGINAL 60 hp PRO engine is factory limited to 40 hp because in Italy a boat license is mandatory for engines above 40 hp.

After we have removed this limitation, it is the original 60 hp engine again.

An original 40 hp Mercury is a 3 cylinder with a displacement of 747 cc and weighs 98 kg.
An original 60 hp Mercury is always a 4 cylinder with a displacement of 995 cc and weighs 112 kg.

This one ORIGINAL 60 hp PRO engine has one Command Thrust tailpiece making it stronger than a regular 60hp Mercury.
In Italy it is even sold as a 40/70 but in reality it gives about 68 hp and is therefore very suitable for heavier boats.

The tail (rudder area) of this engine is considerably larger than that of the regular 60 hp Mercury, which also makes it steer better at low speeds.


Latest model 2023 with fuel injection, power trim, trolling function and electric start.

Motor comes with latest type of remote control, 2 analog meters (speed trim) and propeller.
Of course, all cabling and 4 motor mounting bolts are included.
All new in boxes.
